This was one of the best remakes I think I have ever seen, even though there were aspects of the movie that some people had issues with J.J Abrams did an outstanding job rebranding the movie in his style, and casting a phenomenal group of actors to play the parts the most of us have grown up with our whole lives. Stepped away from the old way we saw things to start looking at them from an entirely new perspective. This was an intense experience in the theaters, and when it was released on DVD I quickly got on Blockbusters site and had the movie sent to me, it was amazing all the little things that you miss the first time you see a movie in the theater.
